With our professional, interdisciplinary approach to health care, The Health Center at NHC Place offers a range of specialized services in five separate wings, allowing us to provide a continuum of highly focused care for patients of varying health needs and skill levels in a comfortable, attractive setting.

There are 117 spacious private and semi-private rooms at The Health Center which can accommodate 160 patients. All are beautifully furnished and have private bathrooms. Community areas include a central, restaurant-style dining room and recreation centers for each wing, landscaped courtyards, a private dining room for celebrating special occasions, a salon, a gift shop and a Quiet Room. A furnished guest apartment is available to our out-or-town visitors for a fee comparable to area hotels.

Our services are provided by compassionate caregivers, including professional nursing and therapy staff, medical directors, a nurse practitioner, a chef and dietitians, recreational staff, social workers, 20 attending physicians and a chaplain. Psychological services and access to specialized care teams in wound care, respiratory care, pain management and diabetes management are also available. To ensure the best possible care, our team of health care professionals is able to tailor programs to meet each patient’s specific needs.
